Customized welded suction mouth design

Casting the dredge Suction Mouth in one piece allows the most intricate shapes, both external and internal that can be obtained to follow the shape of the flow. The dredge suction mouth is produced with customized design for anti-wear resistance. More material is added where necessary at high wear areas.

All Dredge suction mouth products are designed according to the customers requirements and applications using 3D CAD-technologies

The design is tested using Final Element Analysis and UNISITE experts. External and internal forces are examined and all maximum possible scenarios are simulated.

Before making the pattern, casting simulation software is run to verify that all thicknesses, curves, radii etc will be obtained and the material will cool down in a good way preventing internal and external shrinkage.

Casting is done in a clean and supervised environment. All necessary measurements are taken to obtain a good casting like using filters, special cast ladles, and strong paint for the mold surface.

All castings of dredge Ball Joint are heat treated according ISO and ASTM.

Casting mechanical and chemical properties are verified at third parts.
